SFPC aims to operate its facilities to the highest standards internationally, including ensuring priority is given to adhering to environmental protection and sustainability. The company has adopted an overall Environmental Policy Statement to guide its actions, and gained accreditation to the ECOPORTS PERS standard, a specific port-related environmental management standard under the auspices of the European Sea Ports Organisation, in 2014.
